This policy explains what personal information Express Removals collects when you ask us for a quote or get in touch, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
Express Removals 24/7 is a UK-wide removals company. For any question about your data, email us at hello@expressremovals247.co.uk.
What we collect
When you complete the quote or contact form, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the pickup and drop-off addresses, an optional moving date, and any notes you add. We don’t ask for anything we don’t need to scope and price a move.
Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to keep out automated spam, which is subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms. If you’ve agreed to analytics cookies, we also collect anonymised usage data (see Cookies below).
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details for one thing: to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and — if you go ahead — arrange your move. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We don’t use your details for unrelated marketing, and we never sell your data.
Who we share it with
Only where it’s needed to do the job — the parts of our own operation that handle your move, and, for an international move, the customs and transport partners involved in getting your goods to their destination. Each receives only what they need. We don’t share your information with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we reasonably need them — to follow up on a quote, fulfil a booking, and meet any legal or accounting obligations afterwards. When it’s no longer needed, we delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@expressremovals247.co.uk and we’ll sort it. If you’re unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Cookies
The site works without non-essential cookies. Where analytics or reCAPTCHA are enabled, the relevant scripts may set cookies; analytics loads only after you interact with the page, never on first load. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
