Leaving from anywhere in the UK
We collect right across Britain — London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol and everywhere between — and route the move down to the Channel. From there it’s Dover for the ferry, the Eurotunnel from Folkestone, or Portsmouth for the western routes, then onto the destination’s motorways. The customs process is the same wherever in the UK your things start; only the first leg changes.
What “international” adds
A European move is a UK move with two things bolted on: a route plan — crossing, corridor, drop-off — and customs, which since Brexit means real paperwork on both sides. We prepare the inventory, the transit declaration and the transfer-of-residence forms where they apply, and lodge what needs lodging. That part is ours to carry. And if you’re moving at short notice, a part-load can sometimes reach the Continent faster than waiting to fill a dedicated lorry.

What happens with customs now the UK has left the EU?
A move to Europe is now a customs move — an inventory, a transit declaration for the goods crossing the EU, and transfer-of-residence forms where they apply. We prepare and handle that side with you, so it’s a step in the plan rather than a wall.
Can I send a part-load to Europe at short notice?
Often, yes — a part-load can go on a vehicle already heading that way, which sometimes means a quicker slot than a dedicated load. Tell us the destination and your timeframe and we’ll tell you what’s realistic.
How long will a European move take to arrive?
It depends on the route, the crossing, whether it’s shared or dedicated, and customs at the far end. Rather than quote a figure that turns out wrong, your written quote gives an estimated window and we keep you posted as it travels.
